I picked up my first camera in high school in Japan and never put it down (in hindsight, probably a cry for help). I then worked my way through Texas A&M as a photographer before moving to NYC to assist my heroes and hone my “professional skills” (because why follow your major when you can choose something that guarantees confusion at family gatherings?).

Eventually, I migrated to L.A., as one does, and carved out a career in celebrity portraiture.  After years of being a well-oiled cog in the Hollywood machine, I decided to fully lean into the chaos and founded S.O.S. - a platform for making films where I could tell stories lasting longer than 1/125th of a second.

I don’t Tweet. I don’t post to Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. I certainly see the value in social media but my clients expect and deserve my discretion. I also believe that, in the future, the one commodity that will be in great demand is one’s own anonymity or at the very least a few unpublished indiscretions.
